I bigged the run up too much didn't I? We deserved the doom filled black Wednesday, the head injury and the smallest audience yet. After looking at the numbers from last year it has been a much slower first week as we thought but the shows have probably been more fun and better received which is obviously a good thing ability wise but not a great thing bucket wise.

I'll get board of saying it soon but basically the spotlight fell from the ceiling and hit me on the head when Mike was starting the show, much blood later I went on stage and did about 20 minutes before I decided that I needed a lay down. As a result I didn't do or see anymore shows yesterday, I just bought some Chinese food and went to bed. Classic Wednesday!

When local player Ben Shannon, who had qualified via a A$250 satellite, busted in 3rd place with ace-deuce shot down by Grady’s call when the former player was down to just a few big blinds, the. Aussies Michael O’Grady and Benjamin Shannon at the final table of Event #1 of the 2020 Australian Poker Open. Local hero Benjamin Shannon was then knocked out in fourth place. Shannon entered the tournament after parlaying a $250 satellite into a larger satellite which sent him into this $10,000 event.

Hopping for a strong second week now, 7 shows in and 18 to go. Mike will be performing another 9 then 9 solos for me. Good prep for me we shall see, bring on the flyer receiving people who do not want to receive flyers. YOU DO REALLY GUYS!!
